HAZARDOUS WASTE DAYS
The Somerset County Household Hazardous Waste Collection Program gives residents and farmers a legal and cost-free way to dispose of unwanted household items that cannot be disposed of in the regular trash. This drop-off opportunity is for residents only.
Five events are held annually at various locations around the county from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. to enable residents to take advantage of the program. Proof of Somerset County residency is required; (current driver's license, valid lease, tax bill or any other bill with a Somerset County address). Pre-registration is not required. No businesses allowed. Adherence to social distancing guidelines is required. Residents must wear facial coverings, stay in their vehicles with the windows rolled up and store hazardous materials in trunks, cargo areas or truck beds. Following is the 2021 schedule:
